Control Pedal
I saw a control pedal at a junk sale a while back and knew it would be good for something. It looks like it was originally for a playstation, and I've since seen another one so they probably aren't hard to find.
Looking inside, there were just two potentiometers with gears on them, lined up with the teeth on the pedals. I was going to put a 1/4 inch jack on the back, but it came with a 4-conductor cable attached so I decided to just put a plug on the end. I picked a wire to be 9V, and wired it to both pots. Then picked another wire for each of the two control signals.
Then all that was needed was to solder on a stereo jack to be ready to control the Mk I or the Mk II.
